This huge volcano is the third highest peak in Chile, it is located in one of the most beautiful valleys in the central zone, and the remote of this mountain makes it very attractive to mountaineers, who search places with not many people and a touch of unexplored. Tupungato is the highest southern mountain in Aconcagua. From its summit it is possible to appreciate the majesty of the Andes range and many of the peaks which build it. Without a doubt it is one of the last secrets of the Andes.

- Ski mountain guide bilingual, certified as wilderness first response.
- A chef with a balanced diet in mind that will please the taste of the travelers and he also has some vegetarian specialties.
- A book collection about the trips which will help you to enrich this experience and increase your knowledge about the places.
- Conversations about minimal impact, land navigation, flora and fauna. The aim is to reinforce or to obtain basic knowledge about visiting wild areas and enjoying outdoor life. Participation will be voluntary.
Not included:
- Air Trips, insurance, expenses in the case of a rescue, personal equipment, meals of day 1 and 2, tips or any other service not mentioned in this program.

Day by Day:
- Day 1 Airport / Santiago
We will welcome you at the airport and take you to a Hotel in Santiago.
- Day 2 Santiago
Free morning, checking equipment in the afternoon, and a meeting at the hotel.
- Day 3 Santiago/ Baños Azules
Early in the morning we will drive south from Santiago to Cajon del Maipo from here to Cajon del Colorado where mules and “ arrieros” will be waiting for us to load our equipment. We will hike for about 3- 4 hours until we reach our camp at Baños Azules.
- Day 4 Baños Azules—Vega de los flojos
To beat the heat we will depart early to our second camp alter 6 – 7 hours trekking to Vega de los Flojos at 3300msnm
- Day 5 Vega de los flojos—Campo base
The goal of this day is to reach our base camp after 5 to 6 hours at 4100 msnm
- Day 6 Rest day
This day will be used for acclimatizing at the base camp. Be ready to organize and repack the self and group gear for the upcoming climbing days.
- Day 7 Base camp—Camp 1—Base camp
Today we will carry our load to camp 1 at 4750 msnm. Then we will return to camp 1
- Day 8 Base Camp- Camp 1
We will leave Base Camp and move to Camp One.
- Day 9 Camp 1—Camp 2—Camp 1
We will carry the supplies and equipment to camp 2 at 5800 msnm, then we will descend to camp one.
- Day 10 Rest day
Rest day in camp one. This day will be used for acclimatizing, hydration and organization of the load.
- Day 11 Camp 1—Camp 2
We will move to camp 2 to establish camp and prepare for an early morning summit attempt
- Day 12 Summit day
After and early start we will begin our climbing to the summit, on the way we will have a small step of loose rock, a challenging move. Then we will return to Camp 2.

- Day 15 Camp 2—Base camp
Tired but happy we will take off our high camp and start the return to our base camp where arrieros and mules will be waiting for us.
- Day 16 Base camp—Vega de los Flojos
We will start our return following the Colorado river.
- Day 17 Vega de los Flojos--Santiago
Hike out to Chacayes, from here we will take our car to Santiago and at night we will be ready for a good dinner in a Santiago restaurant.
