The volcanoes of the south of Chile offer not only beautiful landscapes but also one of best snow of the world to practice mountain ski.

Details of  the Expedition:

  • Length: 10 days/ 9 nights.
  • Hotel: 9 nights.
  • Camping: 0.
  • Level of difficulty: Moderated, good ski level
  • Meeting Point: Santiago airport
  • End of Trip: Temuco’s airport
  • Group Size: 2 to 8 people max

Included:

  • All meals from day 2 to 10 , including wine and appetizers
  • All land transportation by a private van during the whole trip
  • Ratio 1 guide per 3 customers.
  • Professional First aid kit, GPS, UHF Radios, satellite phone handy, maps, repair kits.
  • Conversations about minimal impact, land navigation, flora and fauna. Participation will be voluntary.

Day by Day:

  • Day 1 AIRPORT-HOTEL SANTIAGO
    We will pick you at the Santiago airport to move to the Hotel

  • Day 2 Santiago- Temuco's Airport - Malacahuello
    We wake up early to go to Santiago airport for moving, after one we arrive to the city of Temuco hour later on we  go to the town of Malalcahuello to our comfortable cabins to enjoy a really nice dinner.

  • Day 3 Lonquimay volcano Ski (2.865m)
    Early in the morning we will go to Corralco ski center, where our climbing to the Lonquimay volcano starts. Then we will go down this beautiful volcano about 1200m high and we will go back to our cabin for a delightful dinner and a pleasant thermal bath.

  • Day 4 Lonquimay Volcano – Llaima Volcano
    Today we will move into the ground of Llaima volcano specifically to the Araucarias winter center for skiing in the afternoon.

  • Day 5 Llaima Volcano Ski (3.125m)
    Early in the morning we will start the climbing of the majestic Llaima volcano, and then at more than 1600m we will start the descending to end up this good day in our pleasant cabin with a very good dinner and a glass of wine.

  • Day 6 Llaima Volcano - Pucón
    Today we will move to the beautiful and cosmopolite town of Pucon, in the afternoon we will visit the attractive Conguillio national park, in this place we will make a trek into millenarian forests and small lakes.

  • Day 7 Villarrica Volcano
    We will start early the attempting to the summit of the active Villarrica volcano, from its summit we can see the lava that emanates from inside of the earth and the majestic view of the zone, after this we will begin the descending of about 1500m and we will move again to Pucon to enjoy its entertaining night life.

  • Day 8 Pucón- Panguipulli
    We will move to the town of Panguipulli to go around it in the evening, rest in the comfortable Tia Sonia Hotel and take pleasure in the thermals

  • Day 9 Volcán Choshuenco
    Early in the morning and after a nutritive breakfast, we will begin the climbing to the Choshuenco volcano to enjoy its excellent snow to end up in a great trip with a delicious good bye dinner.

  • Day 10 Panguipulli-Aiport  Temuco-Santiago
    Today we will move again to the capital of the ninth region to take the plane to Santiago tp our Hotel.
