Matias is a mountain guide and an Explorer who loves life and nature. His nomad spirit has taken him to several expeditions in Chile and several other countries. In each of his adventures he has tried to be in direct contact with the local people thus opening his eyes to different ways of life.
He has done High Mountain Climbing Guide Courses (Escuela Nacional de Montaña de Chile) , first aid for open air activities (Wilderness First response, Chilean Red Cross, and First Aid at the New Zealand mountain Council). He has also done a course on Avalanche threat and Chilean Flora and Fauna.

He Works as a mountain guide in different areas of the Chilean Andes, a sea kayak guide in the coast and Chilean fiords, he does trekking in National Parks and Horse riding.
