During all the years I have devoted to be in close contact with nature, specially in the mountains, I have come to realize that teaching field courses is what I like the most .The sensation you get when you see how people fill up with energy just by being in their tents or by enjoying a hot cup of tea at 6000 meters is something that cannot be explained. As a mountaineer and also as a geographer, "I think Chile is a place where geography and people create a special magic, a magic that can be seen in people’s traditions and in the landscape beyond compare". |
