A typical trip with Miralejos will take you to the most beautiful places in Chile since we specialize in trips to pretty and remote places where we can live outdoors with safety and style, for several days or even weeks. These places will demand that all our senses be alert for the challenges of long walks, rowing or climbing where our effort will be rewarded with the beauty of the landscapes and at the end of the day we will usually reach a good camping site by hot springs. |

It is clear for Miralejos that it is quite challenging to travel in wild nature where rain, mud and tiredness are part of the experience. We therefore consider it of great importance to be able to sleep in dry, comfortable places so we use Mountain Hard Ware tents, Therma Rest mattresses and a tent for dinning and cooking. We are aware of the importance meals have when doing outdoors activities, so we have a cook in each trip that takes care of providing a balanced diet which ranges from vegetarian food to lamb barbecues, depending on the costumers. We also have wines and cheese for afternoon appetizers.
Given the Fact that we travel in remote places, we want to leave a positive trace so we try to buy as many supplies as possible from the local people who live in these isolated places, year round.

| These settlers lead a simple life based on cooperation amongst members of the community, livestock and low scale agriculture. It is therefore an honor for us to be invited to have a Mate in their homes or to ride with them.
We also travel under the concept of eco tours and we use all low impact techniques to guarantee a clean trip in harmony with the environment. Given the characteristics of our trips, we prefer to use the word “expedition” since we face challenges both at a group and personal level. Another characteristic of our trip is that we can almost guarantee that we are not going to meet another group of tourists.
